KRSUltra

Experience the scenic and technical trails in the citynear terrain Kristiansand can offer.
The first edition of KRSUltra was held in 2016. We offer two route choices and a race for the children.

Mizuno KRSUltra is a 60k/37m long trailrace with start and finish centrally outside Aquarama in the city centre. The route takes you up along the river and into the “cityforrest”. Going north you will cross the river and run across the local peaks on a roundtrip on the east side of the river, before you return down towards the city and the finish at the city beach outside Aquarama.

AQ Bymarka is a 21k/13m (half-marathon) trailrace starting at Aquarama. The route goes along the river and into the forrest just north of the city centre. The marked trail “Bymarka rundt” is followed in an anti-clockwise direction before you are taken back down towards the city. The finish is at the city beach outside Aquarama.

AQ Tangen Mini is a race for the children. A 1k race to the tip of “Tangen” before returning to the finish on the grass outside Aquarama.

The arena is outside Aquarama, centrally placed and with everything a runner will want before and after the race
