Join Ultramarathon Kaszubska Poniewierka
The race takes its name from Kashubia, region of northwestern Poland. Kashubia is also language area defined by the widespread use of the Kashubian language. Historical capitol of the region is Gdansk, the city with over 1000 year history. Second part of the name “poniewierka” is quite dificult to translate but in general it means exhausting wandering or roam without any particular reason. The course starts in famous PL resort Sopot and takes runners through the forests with piedmont landscape towards Kashubian Lakes District. During the race runners can achive from 1 to 5 ITRA points.
