Join International Athletic Marathon Ohrid
The 1st edition of this event took place back in 1976 and has grown from a local race to an International Event.
Since 2004 the race date is traditionally set for 8th of September, the Macedonian Independence Day.
The length of the International Athletic Marathon Ohrid route is 30 kilometres (18 miles). The course is by the Ohrid Lake and the road has a lot of uphills and downhills which makes this race one of the loveliest and hardest races in the world.
The start of the race will be next to the border point F1, St.Naum. finish line is set in the Ohrid city Center.
It is an asphalt surface all over the course. There are some hard uphill and downhill sections along the road.
