Global Gate Halong ESG++ Marathon – Run for Net Zero combines endurance running with environmental responsibility in one of Vietnam's most iconic coastal destinations. With race distances ranging from 3 km to 42 km, the event welcomes everyone from first-time participants to experienced marathon runners. The course takes participants through a modern coastal city with scenic views inspired by the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. Guided by the "Run for Net Zero" initiative, the event encourages more sustainable lifestyles while bringing together runners, local communities, and visitors. A race expo and post-race celebrations add to the vibrant race weekend atmosphere.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
After signing the waiver (sent by email within 1 month before the event date), you will receive a QR code for collect your Race kit. Pickup time and location will be announced on our Facebook Fanpage and Website.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. You can authorize someone to collect your race pack on your behalf. They must present these documents: - Online authorization form - Your QR code (receive once signing the waiver) - Their ID document - Photo of your ID document For runners under 16, additional documents are required, including the signed Waiver Form, a copy of the birth certificate, the legal guardian's ID, and proof of guardianship (if applicable).
How do I get to the race location?

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Any distance change is accepted when the request is made before the deadline. The runner will have to pay an extra fee of 300,000 VND and the difference of the registration fee for the running distance, in case the new distance has a higher registration fee than that of the original race, and the balance will not be refunded if the new distance has a fee below that of the original distance.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Runners will not get refund of the registration fee should the race be cancelled/delayed under any reason. After completing registration and fee payment, runners cannot ask for refunds relating to the registration for any reason. In case of unfavorable weather or unforeseen circumstances, the organiser will notify the runners of the cause before the Race day. The organiser can delay the event and are responsible for notifying the runners of the date to which the event is delayed.
Cut-off time rules
All runners must complete the race within the prescribed time limits, including the cut-off time for each segment and the overall cut-off time at the finish line. The segment cut-off time and overall cut-off time apply equally to athletes across all start waves. Runners who fail to complete any race segment within its designated cut-off time will be recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish). These runners will have their race bib marked as DNF. They will be required to leave the race course and will not be entitled to receive a finisher medal or any other finisher items (if applicable).
Participation of runners under 16 years old
Runners under 16 years old are required to have a parent or legal guardian to register and compete.
