Join End of the World Marathon & Half Marathon
Join us for an exhilarating run and indulge in the incredible fun awaiting you in a Caribbean paradise boasting stunning beaches, enchanting Mayan ruins, breathtaking caves, untouched rainforests, and the world's second-largest barrier reef.
The inception of the End of the World Marathon aimed to generate funds for educational purposes in Belize. Since its creation, all proceeds have been dedicated to supporting the Placencia Rotary Club High School Scholarship program, benefitting young individuals in Belize.
Thanks to the overwhelming success of our fundraising initiatives, the gracious donations received from our sponsors, and the remarkable efforts of the Placencia Rotary Club student mentors, we have been able to expand the original high school scholarship program to encompass university and vocational trade schools as well.
Throughout the course of the past 11 years, the EoW Marathon has made possible the funding of over 100 four-year high school scholarships, 30 university scholarships, and 20 vocational trade school scholarships.
Course details
Half Marathon: starts South of Riversdale, finishes at the football field.
Bus transportation is available to the starting locations.
The 26.2 mile marathon course begins at the football field at the bottom of the peninsula, goes through Placencia Village, Seine Bight Village, and Maya Beach, with multiple views of the Caribbean Sea along the way. The course then loops back a few miles south of Riversdale.
The 13.1 mile half marathon course begins at the marathon turnaround and both races finish in Placencia Village.

After registration is closed, registrations are FINAL! There will be no additions, modifications, transfers, or swaps. The entry fee paid is non-refundable.
