The Derbyshire Dales Trail Run is a scenic trail running event set in the heart of the Peak District National Park, starting from the iconic Bakewell Showground near Derby, Derbyshire. The race route follows the renowned Monsal Trail alongside the peaceful River Derwent, with panoramic views of the area, including glimpses of the stately Chatsworth House in the distance. The course meanders through rolling countryside and the picturesque village of Edensor, presenting a mix of terrain designed to both challenge and inspire participants.
A swift descent is followed by a final, smaller ascent into Manners Wood before the exciting home stretch and finish line.

You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, you can drop your distance. You can even do this on the day of the event. All you need to do is notify a member of our team before you set off or, if you do this at the course split, please make sure to let a member of our team know at the end of your run.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees are non-refundable. Up to 2 weeks before the event you can transfer your entry to another runner. This will incur a £10 charge (per person). Up to 10 days before the event you can transfer your entry to another event. This will incur a £10 charge (per person).
