The Innocent Half Marathon returns again, perfectly timed to complement training schedules for popular Spring marathons such as London, Brighton, and Edinburgh.
This half marathon is an excellent opportunity to assess your training progress and pacing ahead of your big race day. The event is named "Innocent" to reflect its purpose: raising funds for three children’s charities – Richmond’s Hope, Kidney Kids Scotland, and Firefly International:
Richmond’s Hope supports children and young people aged 4-18 who have experienced bereavement. Kidney Kids Scotland helps children with renal illnesses and their families. Firefly International, a small Edinburgh-based charity, supports children affected by war.Route Details:
A scenic course combining car-free roads through Dalmeny Estate and cycle paths between South Queensferry and Burnshot. The route is 85% tarmac and 15% runnable track, starting and finishing in South Queensferry. With approximately 275m of ascent, the terrain is undulating, but every climb comes with a rewarding descent!The route will be fully marked and marshalled for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Join us for a meaningful run in support of these vital causes!

Come along to collect your timing chip and race number between 9 - 10.30am from the Longcraigs Scout Hall on Longcraigs Road (note this is NOT at Port Edgar) .
