Join Dalmeny Trail Half Marathon 2024
Join us on Sunday 27th October 2024, for a picturesque Autumn trail half marathon. Navigate wooded trails, riverside paths, and farm tracks around Dalmeny Estate and Cammo Nature Reserve. The race starts and finishes at Longcraigs Scout Hall, South Queensferry, just a mile from Dalmeny Rail Station. Benefitting the South Queensferry RNLI, this event features water and Active Root stations, marshals, and first aiders. Celebrate at the finish with food, drink, and medals for all participants. Expect a field of approximately 400 runners.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Registration will open between 8.30 - 10am on Sunday 27th October at Longcraigs Scout Hall. You will recieve a timing chip (to be returned at the end of the event) and a bib with safety pins.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, no problem
How do I get to the race location?
You can park in South Queensferry or there is Dalmeny Train Station a 1 mile walk from the Scout Hall.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
No, there is only one event.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
If you haven't purchased the refund protection and can no longer take part in the event we regret that no entry fees can be refunded but you can still transfer your place up to 7 days before the event. In the unlikely event of your chosen event being cancelled owing to forces outside the organiser’s control, we will add a race credit to your Blast Running account to the value of a 5K which can be redeemed for up to 1 year.
May I run with my dog?
Sorry, but our insurance policy does not cover this.
What shoes are best?
Unless it has been very wet in the days before the event then road shoes with a good grip are adequate.
Is it really hilly?
No, it's an undulating route with a few short sharp hills but it's not a hill race.
