Experience the towering redwoods, lush ferns, and beautiful trails through Huddart Park, King’s Mountain and Bear Gulch. Set in the wooded hills above Woodside, Huddart Park is trail runner’s paradise. This parks offers one of the most beautiful and well-maintained trails in the Bay Area, climbing through dramatic redwood forests. Huddart Park  offer miles of trails through 2000 acres acres of oak, fir, and second-growth redwood forest.

Practicalities

After Race Services

There will be post-run snacks at the finish line.

Aid Stations

Fully-stocked aid stations every 5 - 9 miles. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink.

Award Medals

Award medals are given to the 1st female and male finishers overall and top three finishers in each age group. All finishers will receive a custom medal.

Overview

This is a magical trail full of towering coastal redwoods, lush ferns and rambling streams. The staging area is Huddart Park and starts and ends at Werder Shelter. It follows the trails through Kings Mountain and Bear Gulch.

In 1850, the California Gold Rush was booming, and so was the demand for lumber to build San Francisco.
