This region is unique in that there are very few native trees so a person can see for miles in all directions. So runners can enjoy the scenery while they run!
The course consists of footpaths, multi-use trails, rocky and rolling jeep trails, dirt roads, and short stretches of pavement on and around Badger, Candy and Red Mountains.
The 50 mile course is a single counter clockwise loop with a couple of out & back sections. The entire 50 mile course has approximately 7.5 miles of pavement but the rest is on dirt and rock.
The 100 mile course is a 2-loop 50 mile course with a couple of out & back sections. Both loops are run in the same direction.
The 50k course is going to be an out and back on the same route.
