Budapest Marathon Organisation offers a great race for those who look for real challenges. the Lake Balaton Supermarathon is a 4-day-long race, in which the participants run about 48 km each day, 195,4 km all together. The course leads around Hungary’s famous lake, the Lake Balaton.
Not only individual runners, but also relay teams can take part in the race. The members of the relay teams can freely decide on the daily distances of the teammates.
Since 2011 the runners can join the race also only for the weekend, they can take part in the last two days, running the half of the set distance, thus a half circle around the lake.
One can join the race only for one day as well and complete a distance that is slightly longer than a marathon. This is a great possibility for those for whom a marathon is not a challenge anymore and want to try out something harder. A perfect opportunity to enter the world of ultrarunners.

- Balaton Supermarathon: 194,2 km, 4 days – individual, in pair, relay for 4
- Half Balaton Supermarathon: 93,1 km, 2 days – individual, in pair, relay for 3
- Marathon+ Choose a day-run an ultra distance! 48,2 km/52,9 km/43,6 km/ 49,5 km – individual
- Marathonfüred: 42,195 km (19. March) – individual
