The Health Prevention Course (PPS), set up by the French Athletics Federation as part of the “Sport” law of March 2, 2022, is revolutionizing the registration process for running races in France. For adult participants, it replaces the traditional medical certificate of fitness for sports practice and thus simplifies the registration process. From now on, any adult participant wishing to register for a running race must follow the PPS online in the three months preceding the competition. This course aims to raise awareness among runners of the risks, precautions and recommendations related to the practice of running, through educational content including text and video.
