Join Girls & Women Run
This annual 5K Run is dedicated to the International Women's Day and Women's Month of March. Women of all ages are encouraged to run or walk in the heart of Kinshasa. It is our mission to empower and connect girls & women through running in order to improve their lives and to create a growing women running community.
This year, the funds raised from the event will be donated to charitable organizations that focus on supporting women in the DRC, particularly those impacted by the ongoing conflict in the East.
The Girls and Women Fun Run is part of Congo River Marathon Events, organiser of the biggest mass participation event in the heart of Africa and dedicated to educate and inspire children and adults across the DR Congo to lead active and healthy lives.
