The Africa Running Show 2026 in Kinshasa, hosted by Global Race Connect in collaboration with Congo River Marathon, redefines the global narrative of sports tourism and community. It is a platform for growth, collaboration, and visibility, where athletes, coaches, entrepreneurs, and creators unite to empower the next generation of runners and dreamers across Africa and beyond. Africa has always been the cradle of endurance and the home of champions. 

The Africa Running Show brings the world’s running community back to its roots, connecting local excellence with international innovation. It is more than an event; it is a movement that highlights the continent’s talent, diversity, and potential. From running gear and nutrition brands to cultural performances and wellness panels, every part of ARS 2026 celebrates the true spirit of Africa. Over two transformative days, running meets culture, innovation, and connection with inspirational talks from world-class athletes and sports pioneers, live brand activations, cultural performances celebrating African heritage, wellness and performance clinics, networking with race organizers, brands, and athletes from every region, and expo booths presenting the best in sportswear, technology, and training solutions. 

On June 6, participants can join the 5K Shake Out Run, and on June 7, all participants can register for free for the Congo River Marathon, choosing between the 10K, 21K, or 42K distances.
