The Millars UCI World Series Gran Fondo takes place in Castellón, Spain, and is the sole Spanish race featured in the UCI World Series Gran Fondo. This event offers a breathtaking course where participants can compete for the coveted rainbow jersey and earn their UCI medal. Cyclists will revel in pure cycling delight, traversing the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park and conquering iconic mountain passes. As you discover charming villages scattered across Spain's second most mountainous province, Castellón, you'll find a race open to all. The top 25% in each age group will qualify for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championship, offering a unique opportunity to ride alongside fellow cyclists from around the globe. Every participant who completes the race will receive a finisher's medal, while the leading 25% in each of the 10 male and female age groups will be awarded an exclusive UCI medal.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fee is non-refundable.
Bikes
Riders may use any type of bike (road bike, mountain bike, city bike, hybrid bike, cross bike, etc.) with the exception of tandem or recumbent bikes. In the road race event, time trial bikes are forbidden.
Licence
Only valid is the accident insurance provided with the cycling federation license issued by an organization associated with the International Cycling Union.
Companions
During registration, participants' companions are allowed to purchase a wristband access to post-finish area. The companion will have access to catering services: wristbands are nominative. Children aged 5 years or younger will also have their identity checked. If the participant breaks, cuts or manipulates the wristband, they will not be able to participate in the event nor will they be given another one.- The companion cannot access the finish area and finish line.- Children aged 5 years or younger will have free access to the area, as long as they are accompanied by an adult who has purchased the access bracelet. Children aged 6 years and older must purchase the bracelet as an adult.
Mechanical assistance
Mechanical assistance is provided on all the routes. At least 2 vehicles and/or motorcycles for service purposes are available to the cyclists. 1 vehicle will follow the head of the race, another 1 the tail of the race. For the time trial, the riders cannot be followed by a car with a mechanic. Private cars with spare parts/bikes/wheels are forbidden in a UGFWS qualifier event. Riders are advised to bring their own spare tire or tubular to the race due to the difficulty of serving all concerned riders in UCI Gran Fondo World Series events with neutral support.
