The Joust 24hr race offers two exciting challenges:
1. The Full 24hr Challenge: Participants can choose to compete solo, as a team of 2, a team of 3-5, or a team of 6-8.
2. The 12 Hour Challenge: Here, the goal is to cover 50 miles within 12 hours, allowing participants to relax upon completing this distance.
Both the Joust 24hr (J24) and the 12hr (J12) races are off-road events designed for solo runners and teams. They take place on a looped course measuring approximately 5.5 miles, with slight variations each year due to the private farm land terrain. The course is well-marked, marshaled, easy to navigate, and relatively flat.
Solo runners who cover 100 miles or more and teams that achieve 200 miles or more will earn the prestigious Joust Buckle. Additionally, the Kids Joust race now features an inflatable rope maze as part of the course.
Course details
The course follows parts of the Severn Way along the river until Grimley then returning back to the camp site through a mixture of fields, footpaths and very quiet lanes.
The course is well marked and marshalled, easily navigable and relatively flat.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees for all URL events are NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. Should circumstances dictate, or in the interest of safety, the organisers reserve the right to make such changes to the published event routes as may be deemed necessary at their absolute discretion. In the event of a force majeure, we the organisers reserve the right to a) reschedule or if this is not possible b) cancel the event. This will, in all cases be a last resort. Places can be deferred to the next edition of the event (an additional cost of £15 is charged), where the event is more than four weeks away. After this point, this option is no longer available. In special circumstances, the organisers may be able to transfer names of individuals to another events, at the organisers' discretion. Transfers can be requested by email up to 4 weeks before the event. No runner is permitted to enter or participate using another persons details.
