The Strasimeno is the 58 km Ultramarathon of the Trasimeno Park.
From Castiglione del Lago, it will take you to discover the wonders of the Trasimeno Park, you will cross in succession the municipalities of Tuoro, Passignano, Magione, Panicale, and Castiglione del Lago.
You will run on a mostly flat route, among the most beautiful villages in Italy, admiring the landscapes painted by Pietro Vannucci known as "il Perugino" and Luca Signorelli.
The 58 km Ultramarathon runs around the entire perimeter of Lake Trasimeno
with start and finish in Castiglione del Lago
The intermediate finish lines all starting from Castiglione del Lago are:
- 10 km with finish in Borghetto di Tuoro
- Half Marathon 21.097 km with finish in Passignano sul Trasimeno
- 34 km with finish in San Feliciano
- Marathon 42.195 km with finish in Sant’Arcangelo
