The Dubai Marathon is an annual marathon held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is organized with the sanction of the Dubai Sports Council and is one of the most popular marathons in the world. The marathon course is a flat, fast one, making it attractive to both elite runners and recreational runners looking to set personal best times. The race typically takes place in January and attracts runners from all over the world.
In addition to the marathon, the event also includes a 10K race, and a 4K fun run. There are also several satellite events held in conjunction with the marathon at the event village as well as a race for families on the day.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Wednesday 8th January – 3.00pm – 10pm Thursday 9th January – 10am to 10pm Friday 10th January – 10am to 10pm Saturday 11th January – 10am to 5pm PLEASE NOTE: Everyone is advised to collect their own run number in person and provide proof of identity.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
If you are having difficulty collecting your own run number we are allowing you to designate another person to collect on your behalf. In order to do this the person collecting on your behalf must have a printout of the final confirmation letter you will receive by e-mail in November. They must have proof of their identity in order to do this.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
There will be no refund or transfer of participation for those participants who do not take part or if the event is cancelled for whatever the reason.
Race Day Temperature
The temperature will be approximately 10-15 degrees Celcius at the start.
What time does the race start?
Marathon Wheelchair Elite – 5:55am, Marathon Elite – 6:00 am, Marathon Masses 7:00am ,10km Road Race – 8:15 am, 4km Fun Run – 10:00 am.
Where can I park near the finish?
There is no public parking near the finish. It is strongly recommended that you use public transport.
