Primiero, in the hearth of the Dolomites of Parco Naturale Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino, will be the theatre for Primiero Dolomiti Marathon, organized by the local club U.S. PRIMIERO ASD. The event attracts both road runners, trail runners and mountain lovers.
Four breathtaking courses (42K, 26K, 16K (new) e 6.5K) crossing the most beautiful valleys belonging to the Community of Primiero, suitable both for expert runners and beginners.
Primiero Dolomiti Marathon is not only running! The Primiero Dolomiti Village will host on one hand an expo during the racing days, and another event right after the competition is over is planned: the Primiero Dolomiti Party, where participants will be able to taste the typical specialties of the area.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The delivery of the bibs will take place at the Event Center at the Centro Sportivo Fossi – Fiera di Primiero – Loc. Transacqua, on Friday from 15 to 23. It will also be possible to collect the bibs on the morning of the race at the special secretariat located near the start - from 7.00 am up to thirty minutes from the start for 42K. - from 8.00 am until thirty minutes from the start for 26K. - from 9.00 am up to thirty minutes from the start for 16K.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, registered athletes who are unable to participate in the marathon are offered two alternatives. 1) Transferring your registration to another person. You may transfer your registration to another person by submitting a request no later than June 28, 2026 , and paying a €10.00 administrative fee. The replacement person must provide all personal information and information relating to their membership or medical certificate. 2) Transfer your registration to the Primiero Dolomiti Marathon 2027. Please notify us of your unavailability by June 28, 2026 , and pay a €10.00 administrative fee.
Marathon Pre-Race Transportation Services
Before the race, a free transport service will be provided for competitors only, to reach the starting area of the 42K in Villa Welsperg – Val Canali. The shuttles will leave from the Fiera di Primiero bus station starting at 6:30 and ending at 7:30. We would also like to point out that the ticket you will receive will allow you to use not only the shuttles provided by the organization but also the scheduled buses for the whole day on Saturday, free of charge. The starting area, Val Canali, can only be reached by the organization's means of transport. The shuttles will drop off approximately 200 m from the starting area. Along the road that will take you to the starting point, you will find three bars (Bar Laghetto, Bar Campeggio and Bar Al Cacciatore).
26 Km Pre / Post Transportation Services
Pre services - Athletes are advised to travel to the start with their own car and use the free shuttles to return to San Martino di Castrozza after the race. A shuttle service will be provided from Fiera di Primiero to reach the start from 8:30 to 9:15. Post Services - To return from the arrival area, you can use the bus service from Fiera di Primiero to San Martino di Castrozza. These services are free and reserved only for competitors. From 13:00 to 16:30 every 20 minutes .
16km Pre-Race Transportation Services
Before the race, a free transport service will be provided for competitors only, to reach the starting area of the 16K in Zortea in the Lozen Valley. The shuttles will leave from the Fiera di Primiero bus station starting at 8:30 and ending at 10:00. We would also like to point out that the ticket you will receive will allow you to use not only the shuttles provided by the organization but also the scheduled buses for the whole day on Saturday, free of charge. The shuttles will drop off approximately 200 m from the starting area.
Time limit
42K - The time limit to complete the race is set at 8h00' . After these times the organization will no longer be able to guarantee assistance services, refreshments and the complete closure of the race course. Time gates will be placed in San Martino di Castrozza where you must pass by 12.45 , at Lago di Calaita to be passed by 13.45 and at Passo Gobbera where you must pass by 15.15 . 26KM - The time limit to complete the race is set at 5h00' . After these times the organization will no longer be able to guarantee assistance services, refreshments and the complete closure of the race route. 16KM - The time limit to complete the race is set at 3h00' . After these times the organization will no longer be able to guarantee assistance services, refreshments and the complete closure of the race course.
