Join Pirin Ultra 2025
Pirin Ultra is a mountain ultramarathon held in the heart of Pirin National Park. The park is part of UNESCO World Heritage list and it offers extremely suitable terrain for skyrunning, as well as amazing, breathtaking views. The first edition of the race took place in September 2016. Three years after, the race became part of the World Skyrunning series. In 2018 the 66K Route was part of the Skyrunner® World Series. In 2019 the race already has three routes, and again the 66K is part of the Skyrunning World Series and the new, third route has a length of 38K. The eight edition of Pirin Ultra will take place from the 12th to the 15th of September 2025. Once more the participants will have four routes to choose from. Following the tradition, Route A will be 160K, the second one – Route B will offer 66K pure mountain terrain, Route C, with a length of 38K has the name Pirin Extreme and the new Route D with a lenght of 25K will challenge everyone who wants to get in touch with the magestic Pirin mountain, but isn't feeling ready for other three courses.
