Join One Hundred Gran Sasso
ONE Hundred is a new international Trail Running circuit that currently takes place in five countries: Brazil, Portugal, USA, Great Britain and Italy. The name derives from the distance covered by the athletes in the two different types of races: 100 km and 100 MILES (160 km), to which various other distances more accessible to amateurs are added, up to the simple Trekking
The ONE Hundred Gran Sasso will take place from 19 to 22 October 2023, over distances of 15, 30, 100 kilometers and 160 kilometers (100 miles) and will represent the absolute final of the entire circuit. The 100 and 160 km races will see the departure from Monte Cristo and the arrival in the historic center of L'Aquila, at the Basilica of San Bernardino after covering over 5000 meters of positive difference in altitude.
The two shorter races, of 15 and 30 km, will instead see both the start and the finish from the same basilica, where the Expo ONE Hundred will be set up - already from 20 October, in Piazza San Bernardino, for the entire duration of the event the reception, information and tender office functions will be performed.
The route of the ONE Hundred Gran Sasso touches some of the most evocative places in the L'Aquila area, from the Rocca di Calascio to the village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio to the lake of Campotosto; it will reach the high altitude part of the Campo Imperatore plateau to go as far as Monte Aquila.

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
Up to 30 days before the event = 50% in credit for One Hundred® events in 2024. Up to 15 days before the event = 25% in credit for One Hundred events® in 2024. No cash refund, transfer or roll-over will be issued under any other circumstances. No sale of registrations to third-parties is permitted. No refunds or credit will be provided for route change if available. If the test is cancelled or interrupted for any reason outside our control, there will be no refund of the registration fee.
Mandatory equipment 100M and 100K
- Hydration backpack bag or water bottle carrier with a combined capacity of at least 1L. - Waterproof jacket or windbreaker. - Cap, hat, or headband type buff. - Thermal blanket. - Whistle. - Two lanterns with their spare batteries. - Glass or bottle of water. - Mobile phone. - GPS tracker provided at race check-in. - Bib visible throughout the race.
Recommended Equipment
Race participants are advised to bring the following equipment with them, in addition to the mandatory ones: - Warm sweater for the night. - Energy bars or solid foods. - Elastic adhesive tape. - Spare money for use in any eventuality. - Running/walking sticks are allowed. - Sunglasses. - Sunscreen.
