Along with the Northstowe Half Marathon, we are delighted to reintroduce the 5K run, a brisk and flat course featuring the impressive view of the Northstowe lakes.
Venture through the evolving town of Northstowe, marked by its ever-changing landscapes, expansive green spaces, natural territories, and groundbreaking architecture. This varied terrain course will guide you past significant historical landmarks in the nearby Longstanton, and take you out into the encompassing countryside – a realm of open skies and boundless natural panoramas.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Information about the in-person collection will be published nearer to the event date.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
You can withdraw until 5 weeks before the event to receive a partial refund. You will receive your entry fee, minus a £10 cancellation fee. After this date, there can be no refunds.
Can I take part as a wheelchair athlete?
Non-racing wheelchair users are welcome to take part in the 5K race. We do not recommend taking part in the Northstowe Half Marathon due to the nature of the course. If you wish to enter in a non-racing wheelchair, you will start at the rear of the wave for carefully considered health & safety reasons associated with the course terrain and density of runners in sections of the race.
Can I run with the dog?
Animals will not be permitted on the Northstowe Half Marathon and 5K courses. We are unable to allow guide dogs on the course but can offer a free place to guide runners. We can also assist in finding a guide runner if required.
Can I run with my child in a buggy?
Running with the buggy is not permitted in the Northstowe Half Marathon and 5K race. Bikes, stilts, roller skates, skateboards etc. are not allowed in both races.
Can I transfer my place to someone else?
You can transfer your place to someone else until 10 days before the event. Any such transfer will be made by us re-registering the entry in the name of the alternative runner who will be required to accept the terms and conditions of entry before the transfer is completed. Transfers are not possible unless we receive your written request before 5 pm on the 17th of April 2025.
Can I use headphones while running?
The only use of bone-conduction headphones is permitted. For safety reasons, you must be aware of the surroundings and be able to hear safety instructions given by course marshals or emergency services.
