Join Moscow Marathon
From a morning run to the first race. From an intention to conquer a marathon to the firm commitment. From start to finish across beautiful Moscow. From dream to reality. Late September is the time when we will welcome you at the Moscow Marathon. You can choose between 42.2 km and 10 km distances and see central streets of Moscow as it can be seen once a year only.The first Moscow Marathon took place in 2013. It replaced the Moscow International Peace Marathon which was held every autumn for over 30 years.
Runners have a perfect opportunity to achieve a personal best in what is a very flat and fast course. It is also one of the world’s most picturesque marathon routes, steeped with Russian history and tradition.
The Moscow Marathon starts and finishes at Moscow, Olympic Complex Luzhniki, South Sports Core Parking. Circular route that runs along the p. MockBa River and through the city center.

After Race Services
Massage Physiotherapists will be waiting for you to loosen up your stiff muscles. They are there to help you, but mind there are other runners who would like to enjoy their services too. Post race meal: Full marathon finishers can receive a free meal in the tent at the finish area, organized by charity fund "Food for Life". Post race beer: Full marathon finishers can receive a free non-alcoholic beer Amstel.
The food stations at kilometres approx. 10 / 14,6 / 21,1 / 24,2 / 29,6 / 34,5 / 39,6 will contain drinking water in cups, Powerade, fruits and water containers for sponges. The fluid stations at kilometres approx. 4,5 / 11.7 / 16.7 / 26.8 / 31.8 / 36,7 will contain drinking water in cups and water containers for sponges. Medical aid will be located at the start/finish area and along the course. Please do not hesitate to contact any medical personnel if you are having difficulties – we appreciate you doing so.
All finishers receive a medal.
Please only use the Promsvyazbank Moscow Marathon bag, which you received with your bib number. You will also receive a sticker with number on it to stick on the bag. Tie a wristband with the same number around your wrist. Do not put any valuable or fragile items in your bag. We recommend you to keep your valuables, such as hotel card, mobile phone with you or with friends or family. The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
There is a time limit for the full marathon — 6 hours.
Result timing will be measured with Chronotrack timing system. The timing chip is on your race number. Please put your race number on the chest.
