Join Minocqua Northwoods Escape Marathon
The marathon course will be run on the Bearskin/Hiawatha trails beginning near Billy Bob's Sports Bar on County Road L near Tomahawk and finishing on the trestle in Minocqua. The course is certified for the Boston Marathon (WI21023DM) by an authorized Boston Marathon certifying agency. The race will start with a gun start so everyone has the same starting times.
The half marathon starts near the intersection of Lakewood Rd and the Bearskin Trail.
The 5K starts near Torpy Park downtown Mincoqua, runs a loop around the lake finishing on the bearskin at the trestle.
ON PACE RACE will again be on the course to set the pace for your skill and ability level. Look for their banner at the start of the Marathon and Half Marathon and connect with a pacer that will run at your skill level.

Practicalities
Aid Stations
There will be 12 Aid Stations on the course plus the Finish. The course aid stations will have water and Gatorade. The finish line will have snacks, water, Gatorade, and beer.
Award Medals
All marathon and half marathon participants receive a medal for finishing the event. Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive an award.

Buses will run to the marathon start at 5:45 and 6:00 (across County L from Billy Bob's Sports Bar; N12025 County Hwy L, Tomahawk, WI 54487). To the Half Marathon start at 7:00 & 7:15; 4761 Lakewood Drive & Bearskin Trai. No return Trip to Start
