dive into history with a view of the future of the fabulous Mantuan territory.

The battle of Curtatone and Montanara is an episode of the first Italian war of independence. It took place on May 29, 1848, when the Austrian forces of Josef Radetzky, leaving Mantua, attempted to outflank the Piedmontese army.
