The Media Maratón Internacional Santa Cruz de Tenerife is an annual event that takes place in the capital city of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. The marathon is an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) certified event and is part of the IAAF Road Race Label Events. The route takes runners through the historic streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and along the stunning coastlines of the city. The event also features a 5 km fun run for those who are not looking for a full marathon experience. The marathon is a celebration of Tenerife’s culture and heritage, with traditional music and entertainment at the start and finish lines. The event is also a great opportunity to support local charities and organizations, as a portion of the proceeds are donated each year.
