Join Marathon Deutsche Weinstraße
Named as German-wine-road-marathon running through the Palatinate region is one of the most scenic road races in Germany.
Participants can choose between a marathon distance and a half-marathon. There is also an option for couples who can register together for a Duo-Marathon.Start and finish time
All runs start at 10:00. Half-marathon’s finish line closes at 13:00 and the marathon’s and duo-marathon’s finish line close at 15:30course
The race starts at the beginning of the German-wine-road in village of Bockenheim. It then runs along the vineyards and through beautiful and romantic wine villages up to a giant wine barrel which is a landmark serving as a turning-point in the spa town Bad Dürkheim.
Refreshment points on the course are located every 5 km.
Children can participate in a 1000m run and youth can participate in a mile run. Both runs are held on Saturday in the afternoon just before the pasta party.
Children run:14:45 – boys14:30 – girls;
Youth run – 15:00 girls and boys.
The Mediterranean springtime of the Palatine region offers perfect conditions for the race as well as for a post-race holiday in the region.

A small luggage can be stored in the registration tent and has to be collected before 16:30. Organizers do not accept responsibility for stolen or lost goods.
For half marathon 13:00 and for marathon and duo-marathon 15:30
Parking space is limited therefore it is advised to use the free shuttle-bus operating on race day from 7:30 to 17:30. The pick-up points will be clearly marked.

Time is measured with a transponder placed on the race number.
