Join Linker Oevert Marathon Antwerpen
Every runner, no matter of his or her age or level is welcome at the Linker Oevert Marathon in Antwerp. It takes place in the middle of the marathon season, so you can train for your future marathons during this recreational competition.
Linkeroever is a hidden gem in Antwerp, Belgium. It is located next to the river Scheldt, and you will have a constant view on the skyline of Antwerp. You will follow a varied track close to the water, run through a forest, on a Finnish running track and through the marina.
The Linker Oevert Marathon Antwerpen has a mixed surface course including asphalt, concrete, cobblestone, dirt and grass, which runs along the river, mostly on pathways and walkways.
Distances: 42 km, 21 km, 10 km.
For all participants: a medal and a goodie-bag.
Course details
The trail of Left Oevert is a versatile and lively walking trail. It runs through the green, along the wide foot baths and even the Finnish running track in left. The course for the half marathon and ten kilometers are almost identical, and also start and finish are located in the same place: on the grounds of the Sea Scouts At the Current.
The route for the 10 kilometer marked in yellow on the chart above. Athletes who choose the half marathon run out the red course, and then complete a round on the 10-kilometer trail.
