Kunanyi Mountain Run
Join Kunanyi Mountain Run
Every step a story. The first ever kunanyi Mountain Run is your chance to be a part of the newest chapter in this mountain’s amazing story. kMR is a trail running festival celebrating Hobart’s mountain culture, bringing trail runners, adventurers and the wider community together to feel the power of connection with kunanyi/Mount Wellington.
kMR was borne from a grassroots' demand for an immersive event in Australia's only mountain capital, and a vision for every runner, crew member and supporter to learn from and be inspired by the community’s connection with the mountain.
For those new to trail running, this is your invitation to take on an exciting and inspiring challenge – and get a great yarn out of it. For experienced trail runners, this is a chance to write history as part of the first genuine trail festival on a mountain that already has a bucket-list-worthy reputation.
We have carefully curated each run route so they all celebrate the diversity of landscapes and culture of kunanyi in their own unique way.
Come and share the story in April 2022.
