Join Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon 2025
Running in Ibiza is pure adrenalin. Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon will really make a difference among the outstanding European marathons.
This new race that will take place in the Balearic Island at the beginning of spring will be different from any other marathon. It will be held in the evening so that runners can enjoy the spectacular views of the most international island in Spain while they repeat the feat of Pheidippides.
Thousands of runners who take part in the event will run the 42,195 metres from Ibiza to Santa Eulària des Riu. This marathon will pay the closest attention to detail so that runners can enjoy every inch of the route around the Magical Island. Besides, the marathon will be supervised and certified by RFEA (the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation), which will assure its sports quality.
Sports, tourism and leisure merge in a very special weekend for runners and Ibiza. The city will welcome runners from every corner of the world who will not only run but they will also enjoy the time they spend there with their friends and relatives.
22K
After the premiere in 2022, in the sixth edition of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon the 22K returns. The perfect sporting challenge for middle-distance lovers who want to start the season on the magical island.
With the beautiful town of Santa Gertrudis as a starting point, the race runs through part of the island to finish, by the sea, on the Paseo Marítimo de Santa Eulària des Riu.
A fantastic ending to enjoy the sunset and the true essence of the #RunAndFeel spirit.
12K
A parallel 12 km race completes the proposal of Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon. We want that all running enthusiasts can experience the island in a different way, that they can all watch its beautiful sunset wearing their trainers and enjoy a weekend full of leisure activities designed for them.
The 12K is an unprecedented race that will share its finish line with the Marathon. They will be both located in Santa Eulària des Riu. The route will pass through the most popular spots in the island and will allow runners to watch the spectacular sunset over a sea which is considered to be among the best in the world.
Running the 12,000 metres of this unique race will be completely different from running 10,000 metres, a distance that is more common in this kind of events. This is a great opportunity for sports tourism both if you travel with a group or as a companion.
The Run and Feel movement wants to reach more runners so that they can discover Ibiza for the first time or to rediscover it from a different perspective: running a distance which is not as highly demanding as the 42,195 metres of the marathon.
