Join Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon 2025
Hanoi city, the only capital of Vietnam, will be introduced to domestic and international sports enthusiasts through the Techcombank Hanoi Marathon Season 3 .
The event will begin with “Marathon Street”, where a series of entertainment activities and experiences for the sporting community as well as every member of the family will take place including vibrant fairgrounds with many Diverse sports booths, live music performances, special, in-depth sharing sessions on nutrition and marathon training techniques.
Not only does the event want to introduce the image of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general, but the event also contributes to motivating Vietnamese people to practice a healthy and active lifestyle. Besides, this is also an opportunity to introduce Hanoi as a promising sports tourism destination, a land that has experienced more than 1,000 years of civilization, a place where romance in literature and heroic history of the nation is mixed. The race track stretches through famous landmarks from the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake to the revered Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. All these things have created their own characteristics, attracting and satisfying tourists from all over the world to the Capital of thousands of years of civilization.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, If participants is unable to pick up the race kit by themselves, they may authorize someone else to pick it up on their behalf, following the instructions on the event website. – Participants must provide a personal identification document with a photo and the confirmation email (in electronic format is acceptable, e.g., on a phone or printed) during the pick up to verify their registration and corresponding BIB number.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, condition applies.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Registrations are non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
What are the cut-off times?
Marathon/ (42.195km) – 6 hours 30 minus after the last start. Half Marathon (21.1km) – 4 hours after the last start. 10KM – 2 hours after the last start. 5KM – 1 hour after the last start. Note: There will be adjustments of the “cut off” points (checkpoints on course that athletes must pass within a certain time) as needed. Details will be announced closer to race day. For safety reasons and to avoid congestion at intersections, participants must strictly follow the instructions of the Organizer. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
Can I run with a dog, pram, etc.?
Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, pushcarts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers, and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the race route.

Participants must meet the age requirements corresponding to the registered distances: All participants in the Marathon distance (42.195km) must be 18 years old or above in the year 2025. All participants in the Half Marathon distance (21.1km) must be 16 years old or above in the year 2025. All participants in the 10km distance must be 14 years old or above in the year 2025. All participants in the 5km distance must be 10 years old or above in the year 2025. All participants under 18 years old in the year 2025 must have confirmation from their guardian or parents. The guardian or parents must sign the registration form before attending the race.
