Join estra Firenze Marathon 2026
We run in Florence. We run in art. When the passion for running meets Renaissance history, culture, and world-renowned masterpieces, running through them becomes a truly unique emotion.
In the previous edition, over 15,000 participants experienced these feelings. Florence is waiting for you. Florence Marathon is calling you, on the last weekend of November. We will run through Piazza del Duomo, across the Ponte Vecchio, through Piazza Pitti, Piazza Santa Croce, the Cascine Park, and who knows—maybe the course will even take us to the most beautiful terrace in the world. Florence is waiting for you. Florence Marathon is calling you.
Important Information Firenze Marathon complies with FIDAL and World Athletics regulations. Athletes who are at least 20 years old on race day may participate, provided they hold a valid FIDAL or RUNCARD membership for Italian athletes, or a World Athletics membership for foreign athletes. All participants must also possess a valid competitive medical certificate on the date of the marathon. Foreign athletes (non-Italian) who are not members of their national athletics federation may take part in the non-competitive marathon by signing the Liability Waiver Form. In this case, the athlete will not be included in FIDAL/World Athletics rankings and will not compete for prize money, but will receive an official certification of their race time. Italian athletes residing abroad must present a valid FIDAL, RUNCARD, or RUNCARD EPS membership valid on the day of the marathon in order to participate. These athletes will not compete for prize money but will be included in the rankings and receive an official race time.
