About Fiducia & GAD Baden-Marathon Karlsruhe

The Fiducia & GAD Baden Marathon offers a fast and flat route through Karlsruhe. The attractive course leads the runners (both half and full marathon) past the Karlsruhe Palace, through central parts of the city center and the new City Park East. After 20,5 kms, the full marathon route goes through other interesting city districts and the recreation area "Oberwald". The last 8 kilometers of the full marathon are identical to the last third of the first lap of the half marathon.

An atmospheric finish in the Carl-Kaufmann Athletics Stadium and the adjacent “Runner's Heaven” - with a rich supply of food and drinks, and big lawns to relax on - await all finishers as a reward at the end.

Along the route, the unique Karlsruhe Dance Marathon with more than 1,000 dancers from over 40 dance groups, will provide inspiring moments and a great atmosphere.

For those who want to dedicate their run for a social purpose, it is possible to donate money for a (self-selected) social project as part of the campaign "Laufen mit Herzen" (“Run with our heart”). For more information, please send a mail to: info@laufenmitherz.de or visit laufmitherz.de

One day before the actual race, a family program is offered with various activities, like runs for children from 3-15 years. Registration and participation is possible on site on the day of the event.
