Run on the Hebridean Isle of Coll, the Coll Half Marathon is a popular race. Accommodation is typically in short supply, so runners are advised to book hotels well in advance.
The race starts from the Cal Mac ferry terminal. Runners are directed on a clockwise loop around the island passing a number of scenic villages along the way.
The half marathon route passes a number scenic villages along the way. Runners head westwards past Kilbride and Acha, on towards Uig. There they pass the airstrip, onto Arileod before moving eastward along the north side of the island. Passing within site of the majestic Ben Hough, then after a further two miles, turn south at the village of Arnbost for the final 2-3 miles stretch leading onto the finish line at The Lodge.
Registration is caped to 300 runners.
