The Chianti Classico Marathon 2023 returns to warm the hearts of running enthusiasts and the beauties of our country. The background of the competition is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy: the Florentine Chianti Classico area. Soft hills surrounded by history and passion.
Among the wonders that we will travel along the way, the new Antinori Cellars, the ancient Abbey of Badia a Passignano, the wonderful historic center of Greve in Chianti, the medieval village of Montefioralle, the Verrazzano Castle and the Gabbiano Castle. A dip into the past, into the present and… into the future.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Bibs will be handed out at the sport facility center of Mercatale Val di Pesa in via dei Cofferi starting from 2:00 pm until 08:00 pm of Saturday 4th of June 2022 and from 07:00 am until 08:00 am of Sunday the 5th of June 2022. You need to have your ID card and your medical certificate with you in order to receive your bib. The bib needs to be visible always during the race. Participants are in charge of checking their registration at the checkpoints and at the arrival point.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
There is no refund possibility available. Your registration can be valid for the following year.
