About Camarillo Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

The mild ocean breezes and flat, forgiving terrain of the Southern California farmland areas just outside Los Angeles form the backdrop for the race route at the Camarillo Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K, which marks its annual running along a route that starts and finishes at the Village Park Sports Field, not far from its airport.

Designed as a fundraiser for the local chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the race is described by organizers as “all flat and blazing fast,” with stretches through the city’s famous strawberry fields and with views of the nearby Conejo Mountains.

The full marathon Boston Qualifier course is two loops of the half marathon course that you all know and love. You will be able to see your loved ones and fan club 3 to 4 times along this VERY spectator friendly course.  This new format will allow runners to see their official half marathon time as they pass along the half way point and race day clock.  The course is all on paved roads along side our famous strawberry fields.  At this marathon you will feel like part of the celebration all race long.
