About Scotiabank Calgary Marathon

The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Race Weekend is the premier race of the Calgary Marathon Society. Taking place in early spring, kicking off the race season and consisting of a race for every age and ability.

Be part of the energy at Canada's Marathon celebrating 55 years in 2019! Start and finish at iconic Stampede Park and run a scenic course in the heart of Calgary.

Age Limit

Scotiabank Calgary Full Marathon - participants must be 16 years of age or older on race day. Centaur Subaru Half Marathon - participants must be 14 years of age or older on race day. Scotiabank Kids Marathon - participants must be a minimum of 4 years old on race day and up to the age of 12 year of age.

Aid Stations

The Jugo Juice 10K has two water stations on course. Centaur Subaru Half Marathon has 6 water stations located on course, approximately every 3km. The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon has 13 water stations located on course, approximately every 3km.

Award Medals

All finishers, in every race category will receive a medal.

Equipment Storage

A secure bag check is available. You can only check the green reusable bag provided to you in your race kit. Please note this is the ONLY bag that will be accepted at bag check. Please adhere the colored sticker with your bib number to the bag. This is required to check and pick up the bag. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes to check your bag.


We encourage you to take the LRT to the Victoria Park or Erlton LRT Station. Limited parking is available for a fee at Stampede Park.


Your timing device for the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is the Chronotrack B-Tag.

This is the Year of Music in Calgary and The Scotiabank Calgary Marathon is delighted to work with local talent, bands,buskers, musicians and performers who entertain the participants on race day all along the course. We are partnering with Alberta Music to curate local talent and invite musicians, conventiona and unconventional, to apply! We are pleased to invest in local talent and provide a platform for them to shine. Thank you to all the musicians who get up early and play an unconventional gig!


Starts and finishes at Glenmore Stadium iconic Stampede Park. A loop course running through the city.
