Join Brisbane Marathon Festival
The Brisbane City Botanic Gardens will be the main hub for the marathon, with the expo village, start and finish lines, and registration all taking place there. Brisbane Marathon runners will have a two-lap course to enjoy the sights of Brisbane, from the City Centre to the Story Bridge and the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and New Farm. The event hub will be a lively place with running clubs, corporate teams, partners, and sponsors. Entertainment along the course as well as post-race activities at the Botanic Gardens will create an unforgettable experience for participants.

Frequently asked questions
When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Location: Event Precinct - City Botanic Gardens Date / Time: Thursday 30 May, 12:00pm-3:00pm Friday 31 May, 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday 1 June, 9:00am – 4:00pm Strictly no bib collections on race day.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
You can have someone collect you bib on your behalf with a copy of your registration confirmation email.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Transfers of distance will be subject to the availability of races.
Can I run with headphones?
Yes you are welcome to run with headphones, but please be mindful of volunteers, police and ambulance and other runners.
What are the cut off times?
42.2km – 6hr cut off – equivalent to a pace of 8min30/km 21.1km – 3hr cut off – equivalent to a pace of 8min30/km 10km – 2hr cut off – equivalent to a pace of 12min/km You are welcome to walk the 5km and 2km events, but please be mindful that roads will reopen at 12:00pm, with interim checkpoints.
How do I get my pre-purchased Merchandise?
Pre-purchased merchandise will be available for collection from the Merchandise Store at the times below: Thursday 30 May, 12:00pm-3:00pm Friday 31 May, 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday 1 June, 9:00am – 4:00pm Merchandise must be collected at the event. No merchandise will be mailed out prior to or after race day.
