Join Brisbane Marathon Festival 2026
The Brisbane City Botanic Gardens will be the main hub for the marathon, with the expo village, start and finish lines, and registration all taking place there. Brisbane Marathon runners will have a two-lap course to enjoy the sights of Brisbane, from the City Centre to the Story Bridge and the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and New Farm. The event hub will be a lively place with running clubs, corporate teams, partners, and sponsors. Entertainment along the course as well as post-race activities at the Botanic Gardens will create an unforgettable experience for participants.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Registration Location: Event Precinct - City Botanic Gardens Registration Date / Time: Thursday 4 June 2026, 11:00pm-4:00pm Friday 5 June 2026, 9:00am - 5:00pm Saturday 6 June 2026, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
You can have someone collect you bib on your behalf with a copy of your registration confirmation email.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Transfers of distance will be subject to the availability of races.
Can I run with headphones?
Yes you are welcome to run with headphones, but please be mindful of volunteers, police and ambulance and other runners.
What are the cut off times?
42.2km – 6hrs 20mins from gun time (gun time 6am) 21.1km – 3hrs 50 mins from gun time (gun time 6am) 10km – 2hr cut off You are welcome to walk the 5km and 2km events, but please be mindful that roads will reopen at 12:00pm, with interim checkpoints.
I opted for bib postage, how do I get my free and/or pre-purchased merchandise?
If you registered for an event that offers some free merchandise as part of your entry or you pre-purchased additional merchandise, you will need to collect this at the event. If your entry includes any free merchandise or you purchased additional merchandise you will need to collect this from the event merchandise tent on Sunday 7 June between 6:30am and 12:30pm.
