About Brescia Art Marathon

Brescia Art Marathon is an international event that allows everyone to participate, with a selection of one of the following distances: 42.195 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 10 km non-competitive. Approved by FIDAL. The route winds through completely paved city and suburban streets, partially closed to traffic. After the great success of the eleventh edition of the BAM proposes for the two long distances, the path opened last year with the departure in Viale Europa, and a journey that will touch on the finer points of the city and beautiful crossing it from north to west, from south to east until you reach scheduled to arrive in the beautiful setting of Piazza Loggia.

Practicalities

Aid Stations

Refreshment stations every 5 km, as per FIDAL/IAAF regulation, alternating with sponging stations from the 7.5 km mark. Final refreshment station and pasta party.

Maximum Time

The limit time is 6 hrs for marathon and the limit time is 2 h 30 min for half marathon.

Overview

Approved by FIDAL. The route winds through completely paved city and suburban streets, partially closed to traffic. A streamlined track that starts in the north of the city, near the stadium, heads west, and then from the south turns east and ends in the heart of the city - the wonderful Piazza Loggia - through the most beautiful street corners and spectacular squares.
