So you think you can run 50 miles in sub-zero temperatures? If yes, the Winter Beast of Burden is for you!

Run a flat course with a few feet of snow under your feet in this race. Enjoy the chill in the air and the challenge of running through snow - enough to make you want to run this spectacular race over and over again. The white fluffy stuff makes for a scenic race that will thrill you from start to finish!

This Ultra is not for the faint of heart and is sure to be a test of one's abilities. Get ready for an epic run on the frigid historic Erie Canal and be prepared to unleash the beast inside of you!

Course Highlights

Runners will start at Wide Water’s Marina and run along a paved trail for approximately 1 mile before crossing the canal on one of Lockport's historic draw bridges and then run along the historic Erie Canal Towpath.

Athletes will run approximately 11.5 miles to the Village of Middleport before returning to the start area. This out and back course will be run twice to complete the 50 miles.
