Join Båstad Marathon
Båstad Marathon is an annual marathon on Bjärehalvön with start and finish in Båstad . The race held Saturday after midsummer, and has existed since 2010. The competition is held by Joy Runners löparklubb.
The marathon and half-marathon routes offers fabulous views of the sparkling ocean and exuberant summer greenery. It is no coincidence that the race is often described as Sweden's most beautiful marathon.
In center for the day is in Båstad Harbour and there will be activity in Torekov where the start of the half marathon takes place. In addition to the traditional marathon distance is held within the framework of the arrangement also includes a half marathon, a relay race and a children's contest. Half Marathon starts in Torekov , the relay is divided into 2-14 where changes occur at any water station.
The course goes around the entire Bjärehalvön. The start is from Båstad harbor against Företagsbyn and further towards Sinarp , Bjäre Golf Club , Grevieparken , Killebäckstorp, Rammsjö and Torekov . From Torekov further via Torekovs Golf Course against Hallavara , Kattvik , Norrviken and boardwalk back to Bastad .

The race has 15 pc water stations around the course and the goal. On these served the following: - Water - Bananas - Fresh waffles in Kattvik - Energy drink at the stations: 9, 11, 13, 15 and the goal.
Memory prices are given to the top three in each distance. All finishes will receive a medal for full- and half-marathon runners.
It is possible to store bags and clothes at the starting area. Bastad marathon is not responsible for valuables.
