Join eDreams Barcelona Half Marathon

The Barcelona Half Marathon, also known as the eDreams Mitja Marató  Barcelona, was certified as the best Half Marathon 2020 in Spain by the IAAF.

The 21,0975 km long route takes the runners from the Arc de Triomf, by the old town to the Plaça Catalunya. From there it goes down the famous Ramblas and along Avenida del Paral·lel. Then it goes through the modernist Eixample district back to the Arc de Triomf, Parc de la Ciutadella further along the eastern part of Eixample to the Torre Agbar, one of the most striking buildings in Barcelona. The route takes the runners along the Diagonal then goes to the Fòrum and along the beach again at the Parc de la Ciutadella to Arc de Triomf, which is the finishing line. With this route, a very interesting and varied street circuit is marked out.

Age Limit

Participants must be at least 16 years old on race day

Aid Stations

There will be 3 refreshment points throughout the race (km5, km10 and km15). You will also find a final aid station (liquid and solid) at the end

Award Medals

It is possible to request the medal engraving service, by paying on the website or by contracting it at the time of bib collection. They will engrave your name on the medal after the race together with the time you have achieved on it. 

Equipment Storage

A cloakroom service will be set up in Passeig Lluís Companys. Service will be available from 7am to 12pm

Maximum Time

2 hours and 45 minutes

Race Kit Includes

Bib number, race bag and T-shirt


The organization will provide a single-use chip to each participant that must be returned at the end of the race



Frequently asked questions

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?


Runner’s Fair: Pavillion nº 2, Fira de Barcelona (Avinguda de Rius i Taulet 1-5). Fair schedule: Thursday, October 14th from 5pm to 9pm, Friday, October 15th from 10am to 9pm and Saturday, October 16th from 9am to 8pm.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?


All registrants must pick up their bib number, or dorsal-chip, the runner's bag and the shirt at the Runner's Fair. It is mandatory the presentation of the DNI or passport along with the mail where the number is indicated.

How do I get to the race location?


Public transport: underground Line 1, the red line, with several stops next to the cloakroom and start. Another possibility, if you come from outside Barcelona, are the commuter lines that stop at Arc de Triomf, R1, R3, R4 and Regional.

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?


There is only one distance. The distance is 21,097 kilometers.
