Desafío La Titánica will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a bold and demanding new challenge. Spanning three days and four grueling routes, participants will tackle a total of 200 kilometers designed to push their physical and mental limits to the edge.
This world-class race, recognized by the prestigious UCI seal of approval, has earned its reputation for its punishing climbs and breathtaking landscapes—leaving more than 30 cyclists unable to complete its infamous course in previous editions.

Course details
We take the GC-174 road towards Mogán Pueblo , then along the GC-200 we cross Mogán Pueblo and continue until the junction with the GC-605 at Pie de la Cuesta. I turn right and start the 10 km time trial climb with an average gradient of 6.5% up to Alto de Cruz de San Antonio , a 1st category pass, then a slight descent and we stop to stock up on supplies at the La Presa de Las Niñas picnic area. We all returned grouped along the same route until the end of the stage at Hotel Cordial Mogán.
Stage 2 : Top Artenara
Departure at 11:00 am on GC-21 in front of the Monumento al Ciclista de Artenara, we continue along GC-210 towards Pinar de Tamadaba, at the Coruña junction we turn right towards GC-217 where we will make a fast and technical descent; turn right onto GC-215 to Artenara, where we will finish with a steep ramp that ascends towards the Mirador de Artenara.
Stage 3 : Los Azulejos / Valley of Tears
Departure at 9:00 a.m. in front of the facilities of the Hotel Cordial Mogán. We take the GC-174 road towards Mogán town, then along the GC-200 we cross Mogán town and continue to Pie de la Cuesta, where the first ascent of the day begins to Degollada de Tasartico, a 2nd category mountain pass. Controlled descent to the village of San Nicolás where we will do the main refreshment stop. After the refreshment, we all set off together to take the GC-210 dam road, where the dreaded ascent to the Valle de Las Lágrimas begins, a special category pass of 21 km and 6% average gradient. After the Parralillo Dam, turn right towards Carrizal de Tejeda along the GC-606 to Degollada del Humo, the end of the timed section. At the junction with the GC-60 we can stock up on supplies and from that point we will make the controlled descent in groups, turning right at Ayacata to take the GC-605 road to the Pie de la Cuesta, turning left to Mogán and the end of the stage at the Hotel Cordial Mogán. The “ Las Tres Presas ” category ends its uphill section at the Parralillo Dam, just before the start of the hardest slopes in the Valle de Las Lágrimas; there we will gather and after all the participants have passed, we will descend to La Aldea de San Nicolás where we will board a bus that will take us back to the starting point.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The Rider bag will be delivered to those registered for the Desafío la Titánica – 3 Stages 2025 at 3 points on the Island; the Free Motion store in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Free Motion store in Playa del Inglés and at the Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa on the following days and times: - Thursday 16th January from 10:00 to 20:00 (Free Motion* stores and Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa) - Friday 17th January from 10:00 to 20:00 (Free Motion* stores and Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa) - Saturday 18th January from 10:00 to 20:00 (Free Motion* stores and Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa) - Sunday, January 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa) Please check Free Motion store opening hours, as they differ in different locations and some work split shifts. You will need to present your ID and/or Cycling Federation License.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
To collect the jersey of another participant, the person in charge must present their ID card along with the signed authorisation together with a photocopy of the ID card of the participant in question.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Once registration has been completed, the amount will not be refunded under any circumstances, and it will not be possible to make any type of change to it (ownership, modality or shirt size). In the event of suspension of the event or postponement due to force majeure (adverse meteorological phenomena, decision of the competent authority, etc.), there will be no refund of the amount paid in registration or any compensation.
