The Madrid Marathon is considered, by many, to be the primary athletics event for the country, and receives much attention. It is currently known as the Rock 'n' Roll Madrid Marathon. Madrid Marathon Route With challenging hills, the Rock 'n' Roll Madrid Marathon is a tough race for some. However it is receives many positive reviews. Commonly the route is redrawn every year. The rock-infused event shows off Madrid’s most emblematic sites passing magnificent monuments, palaces and parks. Spain’s capital city marathon attracts over 35000 participants each year. The Maratón de Rock 'n' Roll Madrid was first held in 1978. A 10 km road race was added in 2010 and a Half-marathon road race was added in 2012.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Pick-up location: Runner´s Expo 2024 – IFEMA Dates: Friday April 26 from 10am to 8pm Saturday April 27 from 10am to 8pm IMPORTANT: All participants must pick up their race kit at Runner´s Expo at the established schedule. There will NOT be race day pick up.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes, the bib number of another participant can be collected by presenting the requested documentation (printed or digital) of the registered participant: - confirmation of registration, - passport/ID.
How do I get to the race location?

Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes, as long as there are available places at the distance you wish to change and before the deadline for registration changes (March 12th, 2024). You must pay the price difference between registration to the registration of the distance you want to change. You will not have to pay anything but remember that no refunds are made for distance change.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
You can request the return of 90% of your registration by presenting the medical certificate that prove your injury before March 31st, 2024.
