Parma Marathon was born in 2015 with the precise desire to replicate a NY-style running event in a city like Parma. An ambitious project since the 2 realities have absolutely different characteristics and numbers. Here, good food perhaps hangs more on our side. But they are tastes ..
Seriously, the work has been a lot and right from the start the quality has differentiated our event from many others that are expressed in the same sector. Obviously we can say it today, after a few editions and after listening to the participants who have wanted to be with us in recent years.
An intense journey but still very, very long if we compare ourselves to events that have much more prestige than ours.
The Marathon is the main element of our races to which we have also added other distances.
Parma is the Italian capital of Food and Opera. Known throughout the world for Parma Ham, for Parmigiano Reggiano, for the composer and maestro Giuseppe Verdi, in October it dresses up to welcome, among its important monuments, thousands of Runners who choose to participate in the PARMA MARATHON.
Various distances allow participants to reach their goals and to choose to cross the city with a competitive pace or to visit it by running in friendship.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
SATURDAY OCTOBER 18, From 9.00 am to 8.00 pm Sunday, October 19, From 7.00 am to 8.45 am The operational secretariat will be set up in the Cittadella public park, Via Passo Buole in Parma.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. You have to write a document that allow your friend to collect your bib number. Remember to attach copy of your ID.
How do I get to the race location?
You can get to the race location by train (the train station is almost 1,6km far), by car (in the race day you can park for free near the cittadella) or by feet.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees are non-refundable. In case of injury, you can request to transfer your registration to next year at no cost. You will need to present a proof of injury. In all other cases, you can request to transfer 50% of your registration fee to next year.
