The iconic Montesinho 101 MTB Marathon makes its triumphant return, reclaiming its place as one of the most historic and exhilarating mountain bike challenges in Portugal. The wild beauty of Bragança’s landscapes will once again set the stage for an unforgettable adventure, where riders will carve through the most breathtaking trails in the heart of the Iberian Meseta Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve.
This year, the event has been reimagined with a renewed spirit, offering three epic distances to conquer: the legendary 101 km, the demanding 60 km, and a scenic 30 km ride—each designed to immerse participants in the untamed splendor of the Nogueira and Montesinho mountains. Whether seeking the thrill of endurance or the joy of discovery, every rider will find their path.
Competitors will navigate ancient forests, rugged ridges, and hidden valleys, where nature’s grandeur unfolds at every turn. The 30 km route, a non-timed ride, will be marked for those who wish to savor the nature, soaking in the pristine wilderness at their own pace.
Organized by the Municipality of Bragança, the Associação Amigos do Campo Redondo, and Bikeservice, this edition promises a revitalized structure, ensuring an experience as seamless as it is spectacular.
