Porto Carras Athlos is a new sports tourism and wellness event organized by Porto Carras Grand Resort in Sithonia, Northern Greece. Its first edition will take place during the Holy Spirit weekend, from 29 May to 1 June 2026. The event is planned as a three-day gathering focused on movement, participation, well-being, and shared experiences. According to the organizers, the concept of “Athlos” emphasizes personal excellence through participation rather than records or times.
The program combines athletic activities with the natural landscape and mythology of Sithonia. It includes races and other sports experiences, along with family-oriented activities such as football clinics and baby swimming sessions. The schedule also features beach soccer, tennis, yoga, and pilates by the sea.
A beach volleyball camp led by Olympian and European champion Efi Sfyri will inaugurate two new beach volleyball courts at the resort. Visitors will also have access to the cultural and culinary side of Domaine Porto Carras, founded in 1967 and described by the organizers as Greece’s largest organic vineyard, through wine-tasting sessions.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
A full refund is approved if you give a non-participation notice by 10 April 2026. However, the organisation reserves the right to make changes to the dates and routes in extreme weather conditions or due to force majeure to ensure the safety of the athletes. If a race or the entire event is cancelled there are no refunds and the next suitable event will be offered as compensation. The organisation is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of cancellation including travel and accommodation expenses such as your transfer to the event location.
