Pattaya Marathon

Pattaya Marathon presented by MAMA is an annual international marathon race which is held annually at the beginning of July in the city of Pattaya, Thailand. It is an World Athletics International Standard Road Race. It has attracted a significant amount of interest since its inaugural race in 1992 – the 2023 event attracted 15,000 participants of all categories. Namongst those participants were runners of the full marathon, half marathon, 10 kilometres race, 4.5 kilometer wheelchair race and 4.5 kilometer Family Run.

The marathon boasts a 0.76 millions thai baht (THB) prize money around pre-determined distances. This year the event will take place on North Pattaya road and Beachfront road. The marathon organizer, Thailand Tri-League promises to display excellent prepared resources for the run that includes having one of experience in spearheading road running events.

Pattaya Marathon is highly popular and information for potential participants must be aware that the course consists of a 42.195 kilometers, 21.1 kilometers, 10 kilometers and 4.9 kilometer categories, so one must be adequately prepared for the challenging conditions in both weather and terrain to endure each course within the Sukhumvit highway or along the waves of the Western Pattaya beach.
