Join Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok
The Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok will take place on November 30, 2025, bringing together runners, spectators, and volunteers for a world-class sports tourism event in the heart of Bangkok. Known as Thailand’s premier road race, the marathon attracts over 36,000 runners and more than 80,000 spectators, making it a highlight on the country's sporting calendar.
Participants will enjoy an unforgettable race experience, running past some of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks, including Lumpini Park, Victory Monument, Wat Benchamabophit, and the Royal Grand Palace. Starting from the MBK Center, runners will also traverse Bangkok’s famed streets, such as Ratchadamnoen Avenue, often compared to the Champs-Élysées of Thailand, and cross the stunning Rama VIII Bridge.
This marathon offers something for everyone, whether you're competing, cheering, or volunteering, with an exciting weekend filled with new experiences and lasting memories.
Course details
Starting and finishing at Sanam Luang, the Marathon offers a spectacular journey through both historic and modern Bangkok. The route passes iconic landmarks including the Grand Palace area, Democracy Monument, Rama VIII Bridge, Victory Monument, Lumphini Park, Siam, Silom, Sathorn, and the King Power Mahanakhon, before returning to the finish in Bangkok's historic old town.
Half Marathon (21.1 km)
Starting at MBK Center, the Half Marathon takes runners through the heart of Bangkok, passing vibrant shopping districts, Lumphini Park, the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Victory Monument, Government House, Democracy Monument, and the Giant Swing before finishing at Sanam Luang in Bangkok's historic old town.
10 km
Starting and finishing at Sanam Luang, the 10 km course explores Bangkok's historic district, passing Democracy Monument, Rama VIII Bridge, the Royal Plaza, Wat Benchamabophit (The Marble Temple), the Giant Swing, and the Ministry of Defence before returning to Sanam Luang.
Family Run (4.5 km)
Starting and finishing at Sanam Luang, the Family Run follows a scenic route through Bangkok's historic old town, passing Democracy Monument, Ratchadamnoen Avenue, and the Supreme Court before returning to the finish at Sanam Luang.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?
The person receiving on behalf of the contestant must bring the confirmation slip, power of attorney, and a copy of the contestant's ID card to show
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
No, the committee reserves the right not to refund in all cases, except in the event of an emergency that prevents the competition from being held, such as flooding, lightning, natural disasters, etc. The committee will consider the plan to take care of the applicants and notify them later.
