Join Helsinki City Running Day 2025
The largest running event in Finland, Helsinki City Running Day takes place on Saturday the 17th of May 2025 and fills the streets of Helsinki and the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Helsinki City Running Day attracts 20 000 runners from over 90 nations and combines five running distances in one day. There is something for everyone; Finland’s largest half marathon Helsinki City Run, the legendary 45th Saucony Helsinki City Marathon, Saucony Helsinki City Marathon Relay, the short but sweet Ice Power Helsinki City 5 and Ice Power Helsinki City 5 Walk, a 5 k walk without timing. Also, completing the half marathon and marathon on the same day is possible, the event is called Helsinki City Double.

Helsinki Olympic Stadium, the day before the race day or on the race day 1 hour prior your start.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. Just provide your qr-code to the person who is collecting your race pack.
How do I get to the race location?
If you are using public transportation, please check the timetables and routes at HSL's website (hsl. fi/en).
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
Yes you can. If you are already registered in an event but you’d rather take part in another distance the same day, please send us email maraton@sul. fi You will get instructions to pay the price difference between the events. If you want to change it to cheaper event we will not return the price difference.
